Google's local communities, Google Developer Groups (GDGs) are running pre-Startup Weekend “Bootcamps.” These bootcamps are designed to help attendees develop their technical skills so they can jump head-first into their Startup Weekend project. GDG Kathmandu organized a pre-Startup Weekend Bootcamp on January 5, 2013 at SAP - Falcha, Babarmahal with help of Mobile Nepal in event outreach. The primary objective of this boot-camp was to help the developers to learn about Google technologies such as Android, App Engine, Google APIs etc which can help them work faster and be more productive during Startup Weekend Kathmandu.
